Here’s another installment honoring National Pet Parents Day.  It is the last Sunday in April and recognizes pet parents who go the extra mile to care for their fur babies. From now until the end of April, we’ll feature some Fry | Goehring team members and their pets.

Attorney Jeff James rescued Marley from the Jacksonville Humane Society about 15 years ago. He was just 10 weeks old when someone dropped him off in a box on the side of the road. Flash forward over nearly a decade and a half later, Marley’s been right by Jeff’s side the entire time.

Here’s what Jeff says about Marley.

He helped keep me sane through law school and the Bar exam. He was the best dressed groomsman at my wedding. And he is now even helping me raise my first little one, Tommy. He used to sleep at the foot of the bed, but these days, he cuddles up next to Tommy’s crib every evening and protects him through the night.

To say he’s been my best friend all of these years would be a wild understatement. He’s family. Marley’s finally slowing down in his golden years, but boy, has he already given my family enough joy and happy memories to last a lifetime.
