William Goodbread
Associate Attorney
William Pierce Goodbread is a personal injury attorney with broad litigation experience and a practical understanding of how cases are evaluated, defended, and resolved from multiple perspectives. He has handled personal injury matters at every stage of litigation, including intake and investigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and courtroom appearances.
Pierce’s background includes work on both plaintiff-side personal injury matters and litigation support in high-volume, defense-oriented environments, giving him a clear view of how insurers and opposing counsel assess risk, value claims, and approach settlement. This dual exposure allows him to anticipate arguments, spot leverage early, and position cases efficiently for resolution or trial.
Throughout his career, Pierce has managed active caseloads involving motor vehicle collisions and premises liability claims, maintained direct client and adjuster communication, and prepared demand packages and discovery designed to move cases forward. He is known for combining analytical rigor with practical efficiency, including the use of systems and templates that streamline litigation without sacrificing substance.
Pierce earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he received multiple scholarships and fellowships, and holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Alabama. He approaches personal injury cases with a client-focused mindset and a strategic appreciation for how cases are viewed on both sides of the courtroom.
Outside the office, Pierce is a top-rated blitz chess player, a Rubik’s Cube speed solver, and a former Wheel of Fortune contestant.
