Prepare for some additional commute time if you are using Peachtree Road from 14th to Roswell Rd. The utility poles on this stretch of road are too close to the street, so the Georgia Department of Transportation and Georgia Power are teaming up to relocate them. There have been several accidents in which drivers have struck the poles due to their position, so this work should be a positive thing for the city of Atlanta!
The project started on 2/18/2019 and is estimated to go through November. Hopefully, this work can be done before then so the roads can return back to normal. Luckily we have an alternate route for our clients to reach our office during this time.
STEP 1:
A way to get to our office easily, instead of taking Peachtree Road, you can take Northside Road to Deering Road NW.
STEP 2:
Follow Deering until you reach Standish Avenue (the first left after you go over 75). Turn left onto Standish Ave.
STEP 3:
Then at the end of the street turn right onto 25th. This will bring you to the correct side of the building, completely avoiding Peachtree and the traffic.
